Job Overview
PayLater is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers its BNPL platform. The role focuses on ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments while supporting DevOps, automation, and cloud-native applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement cloud security, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources.
- Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps teams to improve cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, scripting, and cloud security.
- Cloud certifications are an advantage.
