About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and target-driven Driver cum Salesman (Van Salesman) to join our distribution team. You will be responsible for driving a company vehicle, managing daily sales routes, servicing existing retail accounts (groceries, supermarkets, etc.), and securing new business to meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily route planning, distribution, and product delivery to retail outlets across assigned territories in the UAE.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and distribution targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with grocery stores, supermarkets, and standard retail outlets.
- Manage stock levels in the van, ensuring correct inventory loading and zero stock shortages.
- Handle cash collections, invoicing, and credit management accurately, adhering to company policy.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base within your territory.
Mandatory Requirements
- FMCG Experience: Minimum of 2 years of solid experience specifically as a Van Salesman in the UAE FMCG sector. Candidate must have a proven track record of selling consumer goods directly to retail/grocery stores.
- Driving License: Must possess a valid, clean UAE Manual Driving License.
- Age Limit: Maximum age of 35 years old.
- Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of UAE roads, retail networks, and routes.
- Communication: Good communication and negotiation skills in English (knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, or Malayalam is a strong plus).
