, you will be responsible for managinginbound and outbound transportationoperations within the plant, ensuring smooth and cost-effective movement of goods. You will play a critical role in optimizing transportation planning, coordinating with logistics providers, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
This role works closely with warehouse teams, suppliers, and external transport providers to enhance efficiency and meet business objectives.
Focus of this role is to:
Oversee and coordinate daily inbound and outbound transport activities to ensure on-time deliveries.
Optimize transport planning to reduce costs while maintainingservice excellence.
Ensure full compliance with Nestlé SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) standards and local transport regulations.
Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to align transport schedules with operational needs.
Monitor carrier performance, address service issues, and drive continuous improvements.
Ensure proper documentation and tracking of shipments, reducing delays and discrepancies.
Support cost control initiatives by identifying and implementing transport efficiency improvements.
Functional Responsibilities
Planning & Execution:
Schedule and oversee daily inbound and outbound transport activities.
Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure transport operations align with Nestlé’s SHE and regulatory requirements.
Conduct periodic safety inspections of transport operations.
Performance Monitoring & Improvement:
Track and analyze transport KPIs (on-time delivery, cost per trip, carrier efficiency).
Identify areas forcost reductionand service improvement.
Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Work closely with warehouse teams to synchronize transport withmaterial handling.
Address transport-related issues and work with suppliers for resolution.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate transport records, invoices, and compliance documents.

Academic & Professional
Experience:
Bachelor’s degreein supply chain, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum3 years of experienceintransportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Experience working with3PL providersand freight management systems.
Core Knowledge & Skills:
Strong knowledge oftransport planning and fleet management.
Familiarity withSHE (Safety, Health & Environment) regulationsrelated to transport.
Proficiency inSAP transactionsrelated to transport and logistics.
Ability to analyzetransport cost driversand implement cost-saving initiatives.
Strongproblem-solvinganddecision-making skillsin afast-paced environment.
Effectivecommunication and coordination skills
