Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG/GTAW welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings and welding specifications.
- Set and operate TIG welding machines with appropriate current, gas flow, and settings.
- Prepare, fit, and weld components with proper alignment and joint preparation.
- Maintain clean, precise, and high-quality welds with minimal defects.
- Perform welding on different positions and material thicknesses.
- Inspect welds for cracks, porosity, undercut, and other defects.
- Carry out grinding, cleaning, and finishing of welded joints when required.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools properly.
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a TIG Welder in steel, stainless steel, or aluminium fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of TIG/GTAW welding techniques.
- Ability to weld thin and medium-thickness materials accurately.
- Ability to read basic fabrication/welding drawings.
- Good knowledge of welding safety and quality standards.
- UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
