Role Overview: As a Data Engineer, you will be a critical member of client’s Data Engineering Team, responsible for developing database solutions, building ETL processes, handling complex data structures, and delivering data analytics and BI solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to process high-volume data and implement data integration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop robust database solutions to support data engineering initiatives.
Design and implement ETL processes for high-volume data pipelines.
Build and maintain data warehouses and data integration systems.
Handle complex data structures to ensure efficient data processing and transformation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data analytics and BI solutions.
Optimize database performance, debug issues, and fine-tune for efficiency.
Work with various databases, including Redshift, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Contribute to the development and optimization of data warehouse models.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and database performance.
Explore and work in Hadoop/Big Data environments (preferred).
Technical/Core Skills Required:
Experience in Database & Enterprise Warehouse Development.
Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL with hands-on experience in bulk data processing.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills to interpret and analyze large datasets.
Experience working with databases such as Redshift, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Strong understanding and experience with data warehouse modeling and development.
Proficiency in problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with Hadoop/Big Data environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
