Requirements
Role Summary:
The HUB Incharge plays a pivotal role in managing the overall operations of a hub, ensuring smooth and timely movement of goods through the distribution network. This position is responsible for overseeing inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with delivery executives, and maintaining service quality at the hub level. The HUB Incharge ensures operational efficiency, compliance with company protocols, and effective team performance while meeting daily delivery targets and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Supervise daily hub operations, including inbound receiving, outbound dispatch, and last-mile delivery coordination
Ensure timely and accurate sorting, scanning, and dispatch of shipments
Monitor performance of delivery associates and support staff to meet delivery targets and quality benchmarks
Coordinate with linehaul, transport partners, and central logistics teams for smooth movement of shipments
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure no discrepancies through regular audits
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational guidelines
Resolve delivery issues, customer complaints, and shipment delays in a timely and effective manner
Optimize workforce allocation and shift planning to manage volume spikes and seasonal fluctuations
Track hub-level KPIs such as on-time delivery rate, order accuracy, and returns management
Train and guide staff to improve productivity, process knowledge, and customer service
Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and communication with higher management
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the hub facility.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferably in logistics and supply chain management
Minimum 2-3 years of logistic operations experience required
Experience in or exposure to logistics and ecommerce preferred
Your Proficiencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate computer knowledge
Knowledge in strategic planning
Flexibility and willingness to work in rotational and night shifts
Strong experience managing high-volume logistics operations
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage delivery and warehouse staff
Quick and effective decision-making in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
