Tailor / Sewing Machine Operator – Bedding Products Jobs in Ajman at The Home Mart FZC
We are looking for an experienced Tailor / Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. The role focuses on stitching and finishing mattress toppers, trifold mattresses, mattress covers, cushions, and other bedding products.
The ideal candidate should be experienced in handling larger fabric pieces, working with different materials, and producing clean, strong, and accurate stitching.
Key Responsibilities
- Stitch covers and outer fabrics for mattress toppers, trifold mattresses, and other bedding products
- Operate industrial sewing machines efficiently and safely
- Stitch zippers, borders, handles, piping, Velcro, and other components where required
- Follow product measurements, patterns, and stitching specifications
- Ensure straight, clean, and durable stitching
- Work with foam, fabric, quilted materials, and other bedding-related materials
- Check finished products for stitching and quality issues
- Make adjustments or corrections when required
- Maintain consistent production quality and meet daily production targets
- Keep the sewing area and equipment clean and organized
Requirements
- Previous experience in tailoring, industrial sewing, upholstery, mattress, or bedding production
- Experience using industrial sewing machines
- Ability to work with large fabric pieces and bulky products
- Good understanding of measurements and stitching techniques
- Ability to follow patterns, measurements, and production instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Ability to meet production deadlines
Preferred Experience
Experience stitching mattress covers, mattress toppers, cushions, sofa covers, upholstery, quilts, or other home textile products will be an advantage.
