SYSTEM CONTROL ENGINEER – SPECIAL EXPERT

Work Schedule: 6 Days per Week
Salary & Benefits:
- QAR 10,000–12,000 + Accommodation + Transportation + Other Benefits

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university.
Experience & Requirements:
- 25+ years of relevant experience in a similar electric utility.
- Minimum 15+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in electricity control systems.
- Experience in the Qatar electricity sector is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international electrical standards.
- Proven experience working with KAHRAMAA standards, operating procedures, and practices.
- Strong knowledge of electricity network operations during normal and emergency situations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with maturity of judgment and strong decision-making abilities.
- Fluent in English, particularly technical and professional correspondence.
- Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
- Computer literate with good presentation skills.
- Must successfully pass the Authorization Interview and qualify as a Senior Authorized Person (SAP).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage electricity network control operations during normal and emergency conditions.
- Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical networks.
- Apply KAHRAMAA operating procedures, standards, and safety requirements.
- Provide expert technical guidance for complex power system control and network operation activities.
- Supervise and support control room and operational teams.
- Make sound technical decisions during emergency and abnormal network conditions.
- Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders regarding network operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable international standards and KAHRAMAA requirements.
- Review operational procedures and provide recommendations for improving system reliability and safety.
- Mentor and guide engineers and operational personnel.
- Prepare and review technical reports, operational documents, and presentations.
Pay: QAR14,000.00 – QAR15,000.00 per month
