We’re looking for a dynamic individual to join our clients’ team as a Supply Chain Contracts Lead.
This position will be reporting to the Supply Chain Director.
Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum of 6 years in the Oil and Gas industry, covering contract preparation, evaluation, and negotiation.
At least 6 years of experience in service contracts as a Contracts Manager or Contracts Lead.
3+ years of broad-based contracting experience, including contract development, maintenance, and negotiations.
Expertise in the GCC & international market, contracts, and Supply Chain.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or other applicable business degrees.
Strong commercial proficiency in contract development, negotiation, bid evaluation, total cost development, analytical skills, supplier relationship management, and contracting strategy development.
Behavioural proficiency: Internal initiative & drive, resilience, communication skills, adaptability, and integration.
Knowledge of Oracle Contracting Module (or equivalent) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Negotiation and Management:
Negotiating and drafting contracts with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
Managing existing contracts, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
Monitoring contract performance and addressing any issues or disputes.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers.
Ensuring suppliers meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
Identifying and evaluating potential new suppliers.
Supply Chain Optimization:
Analyzing supply chain processes and identifying areas for improvement.
Developing and implementing strategies to optimize supply chain performance, such as reducing costs, improving efficiency, and enhancing quality.
Working with other departments to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
Risk Management:
Identifying and assessing potential risks to the supply chain, such as disruptions, delays, or cost overruns.
Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Reporting and Analysis:
Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain contracts.
Preparing reports and presentations on contract performance and supply chain activities.
