We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and results-driven Supermarket Manager to lead our supermarket operations. The Supermarket Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, managing staff, maintaining operational excellence, and driving overall business performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent decision-making skills, and proven experience in retail management.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the supermarket, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Oversee inventory management, including purchasing, stock replenishment, stock control, and minimizing inventory losses.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and fully compliant with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Staff Management
- Lead, supervise, and motivate store employees to achieve operational and business objectives.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower planning.
- Conduct recruitment, interviews, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive, productive, and customer-focused work environment.
- Ensure all employees comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Sales and Customer Service
- Drive sales growth and ensure the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards throughout the store.
- Build strong customer relationships and enhance customer loyalty.
- Plan and implement merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities to maximize sales and profitability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions where necessary.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and analyze reports related to sales, inventory, shrinkage, staffing, and store performance.
- Conduct regular operational audits and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace safety regulations.
Marketing and Promotions
- Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store promotional campaigns and seasonal activities.
- Ensure promotional displays are attractive, accurate, and effectively implemented.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to execute company marketing initiatives.
- Monitor the effectiveness of promotions and recommend improvements.
Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Make informed business decisions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Handle emergencies, customer escalations, and unexpected situations confidently and professionally.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Provide strategic leadership to all store departments.
- Coordinate with department supervisors, buyers, warehouse teams, and corporate departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate company objectives and operational updates.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in supermarket or retail management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in retail management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, merchandising, and customer service best practices.

Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month
