Structure CAD Draftsman (Concrete) Jobs in Dubai at BIM CONNECT
Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal HSE regulations, including OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s HSE management system.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.
Keep abreast of HSE legislation changes and advise the management team on any necessary changes to company procedures.
Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification:
Conduct risk assessments, hazard analysis, and safety audits to identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Work with teams to investigate workplace incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in developing risk mitigation plans for specific departments or projects.
Safety Training and Awareness:
Develop, organize, and conduct safety training and awareness programs for all employees, ensuring that they are well-versed in safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Provide HSE training materials and keep records of completed training for compliance purposes.
Incident Investigation and Reporting:
Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents to determine causes and propose corrective and preventative measures.
Prepare reports on accidents or safety concerns and present them to management with findings and recommendations for improvement.
Maintain accurate incident reports and ensure they are logged into the safety management system.
Environmental Protection and Sustainability:
Monitor and manage environmental hazards, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable practices.
Lead environmental initiatives within the organization to reduce waste, water usage, and carbon emissions.
Ensure waste disposal practices comply with local environmental laws and promote sustainability across the company.
Emergency Response and First Aid:
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
Ensure proper first-aid and emergency response equipment is available and accessible on-site.
Organize and conduct emergency drills and simulations for employees.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain records of inspections, audits, risk assessments, incidents, and training programs.
Prepare and submit HSE performance reports to senior management.
Ensure that safety data sheets (SDS) for chemicals and hazardous materials are up to date and accessible.
Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of safety within the workplace, encouraging employee participation in safety programs.
Continuously review and improve existing HSE policies, procedures, and protocols.
Lead or participate in safety improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications:
NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) or other relevant certifications.
First Aid, CPR, or similar certifications.
ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 certification is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HSE role within Oil & Gas & Construction.
Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and implementing safety programs.
Experience with regulatory compliance and environmental management systems.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month
