JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are hiring a Structural Engineer (G+12) is responsible for the design, analysis, and authority approvals of mid-rise building structures up to 12 floors. This role requires a Dubai Municipality (DM) G+12 License, expert proficiency in structural software, and ensuring strict compliance with UAE building codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Authority Approvals: Prepare and submit structural approval packages, handling the full-cycle approval process with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, and Dubai Civil Defense.
- Structural Design: Perform advanced structural analysis and design for concrete and steel structures, including foundations, columns, beams, and slabs.
- 3D Modeling: Create and manage structural models using industry-standard design tools like ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, and SAP2000.
- Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with architects, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineers, and civil designers to resolve design clashes.
- Site Resolution: Attend technical meetings, respond to tender queries, and resolve on-site structural issues.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Licensing: Mandatory valid Dubai Municipality G+12 Structural Engineer License.
- Experience: Typically 5+ to 8+ years of structural engineering experience, with a proven track record of handling G+12 projects in the UAE.
- Local Regulations: Deep understanding of UAE construction codes, local authority procedures, and standard international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode).
