Roles and Responsibilities
1. Structural Design & Analysis
- Prepare structural designs for buildings, villas, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
- Perform structural calculations and analysis using engineering software.
- Design foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls, and other structural components.
- Review architectural drawings and coordinate structural requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with local authority regulations, codes, and standards.
2. Preparation of Drawings & Documentation
- Prepare structural design reports and calculation sheets.
- Develop structural drawings and details for construction.
- Review shop drawings submitted by contractors.
- Prepare BOQs and technical specifications related to structural works.
- Assist in authority submissions and approvals.
3. Site Supervision & Inspection
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality of structural works, reinforcement, concrete works, and steel structures.
- Issue Site Observation Reports (SORs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.
- Witness testing activities such as concrete cube tests, rebar inspections, and load tests.
- Verify contractor work before authority inspections.
4. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and assign team.
- Attend project meetings and provide structural guidance.
- Resolve technical and design-related issues during construction.
5. Authority Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local municipality and regulatory requirements.
- Support submission and approval processes with relevant authorities.
- Review and implement authority comments and requirements.
- Visit or talk to authorities once required
6. Quality Assurance & Safety
- Ensure structural designs meet safety and durability requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments related to structural stability.
- Verify adherence to quality standards and engineering best practices.
- Recommend corrective actions for structural deficiencies.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Flexible for making quotation or reports
- Maintain records of inspections, approvals, and site observations.
- Document design revisions and project correspondence.
- Assist in project closeout documentation and as-built reviews.
Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
