Job Summary:

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the efficient operation of the storage facility. This role involves receiving, storing, and issuing materials, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary to ensure availability.

Receiving Goods: Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and documents.

Storage Organization: Ensure materials are stored properly, maintaining a clean and organized storage area.

Issuing Materials: Process requests for materials and ensure timely distribution to various departments.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.

Stock Audits: Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.

Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in supply chain, material management is a plus.

Previous experience as a storekeeper or inventory management role.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in using SAP and MS Office.

Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
