Job Title-Joinery Store Keeper
Job Summary
Responsible for receiving, storing, controlling, and issuing joinery materials, tools, hardware, and finished products. Ensures accurate inventory records, proper material identification, and timely availability of materials for production and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect joinery materials, hardware, fittings, tools, and accessories.
- Check delivered materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Properly store and organize materials such as timber, MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, adhesives, hardware, and fittings.
- Issue materials to the production team based on approved material requests.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems regularly.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform management of shortages.
- Ensure materials are properly labeled, protected, and stored according to requirements.
- Maintain separate records for damaged, rejected, returned, and obsolete materials.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, site teams, and suppliers regarding material requirements.
- Prepare material issue notes, goods received notes, stock reports, and inventory documentation.
- Follow FIFO principles where applicable, particularly for adhesives, paints, and other time-sensitive materials.
- Keep the store clean, safe, and properly organized.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and proper handling of materials.
- Support periodic audits and provide inventory reports when required.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in joinery, furniture, fit-out, or construction.
- Good knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, fittings, and tools.
- Basic computer skills; experience with ERP or inventory software is an advantage.
- Good understanding of stock control and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with production and purchasing teams.
- Physically capable of handling and moving store materials safely.

Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED4,000.00 per month
