Storekeeper – Coffee Shop (Full-Time)

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage the inventory of a busy coffee shop. The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and monitoring all food, beverage, packaging, and operational supplies while ensuring inventory accuracy, product quality, and compliance with food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect deliveries of coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries, food items, packaging materials, and other operational supplies.
- Verify all deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Store products according to food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring proper temperature and storage conditions.
- Practice FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Procurement Department for timely replenishment.
- Issue inventory and supplies to the coffee shop team based on operational requirements.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and prepare inventory reports.
- Monitor expiry dates and immediately report damaged, expired, or slow-moving items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems or spreadsheets.
- Ensure the storeroom is clean, organized, secure, and compliant with food safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the Branch Manager, Operations, and Finance teams regarding inventory discrepancies and stock requirements.
- Assist during stock audits and ensure inventory accuracy at all times.
- Follow company policies, HACCP guidelines, and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a coffee shop, café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
- Familiarity with coffee shop products and food & beverage inventory is preferred.
- Understanding of FIFO, FEFO, and HACCP principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Qatar.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling coffee beans, dairy products, pastries, beverages, and café consumables.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to analyze stock variances and prepare inventory reports.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
