Job Title
Store Keeper – AIT Department
Job Purpose
To manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of materials, spare parts, tools, and consumables required for AIT production activities, ensuring accurate inventory records and uninterrupted production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Store materials safely and systematically following company standards.
- Issue materials, tools, and consumables against approved Material Requisition Forms (MRFs).
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/SAP and ensure timely data entry.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and assist in annual inventory audits.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with Procurement for replenishment.
- Ensure proper labeling, identification, and traceability of all inventory items.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the store.
- Report damaged, obsolete, or slow-moving inventory to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, QA/QC, and Logistics to ensure timely material availability.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and inventory control procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper in manufacturing, automotive, defense, or engineering industries.
- Experience using ERP/SAP inventory modules.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and inventory management.
- Forklift certification is an added advantage.
