The Store Manager & Sales Executive is responsible for managing the daily operations of a physical store, serving walk-in customers, achieving sales targets, maintaining product quality and availability, supervising employees, controlling inventory, and ensuring accurate cash and billing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Store Sales and Customer Service

  • Welcome walk-in customers and understand their requirements.
  • Recommend suitable products based on customer needs and budgets.
  • Explain product features, quality, availability, pricing, and care requirements.
  • Prepare quotations and confirm customer orders.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales and average order value.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Build strong relationships with regular customers.
  • Handle customer complaints, exchanges, and returns professionally.
  • Collect customer feedback and report recurring concerns to management.

Daily Store Operations

  • Manage store opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, secure, and ready for customers.
  • Maintain attractive, fresh, and properly priced product displays.
  • Monitor store facilities, equipment, storage conditions, and maintenance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and operating procedures.
  • Maintain all required store registers, documents, and records.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse, purchasing, finance, and delivery teams.

Billing and Cash Management

  • Ensure all sales are correctly entered into the POS or billing system.
  • Process cash, card, and approved credit transactions accurately.
  • Issue invoices, receipts, and other required documents.
  • Verify discounts, price adjustments, and complimentary items before processing.
  • Reconcile cash and POS transactions at the end of each shift or business day.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales and cash reports.
  • Safeguard cash and arrange deposits according to company procedures.
  • Report billing or cash discrepancies immediately.

Inventory and Product Quality

  • Check incoming stock against purchase or transfer documents.
  • Inspect products for quality, quantity, condition, and specifications.
  • Ensure products are handled, stored, and displayed correctly.
  • Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, ageing, damaged, and unavailable items.
  • Apply proper stock rotation to reduce damage and wastage.
  • Conduct daily stock checks and scheduled physical inventory counts.
  • Record damages, returns, wastage, and stock adjustments accurately.
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
  • Request stock replenishment based on sales, customer demand, and available inventory.
  • Ensure sufficient stock availability without creating unnecessary excess.

Order and Delivery Coordination

  • Record customer orders accurately, including product, quantity, price, and delivery details.
  • Ensure orders are prepared, checked, packed, and labelled correctly.
  • Coordinate customer collections and deliveries.
  • Inform customers promptly about availability, delays, or approved alternatives.
  • Prioritize urgent and time-sensitive orders.
  • Follow up to ensure orders are completed and delivered as agreed.
  • Resolve order and delivery discrepancies promptly.

Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Report store performance against sales targets.
  • Track walk-in customers, enquiries, conversions, and average order value.
  • Report stock shortages, ageing inventory, damages, and wastage.
  • Share customer feedback and market observations with management.
  • Support sales forecasting and stock planning.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3–5 years of B2B store sales or retail operations experience.
  • Previous experience supervising employees and managing a physical store is preferred.
  • Experience with Flowers, perishable or time-sensitive products is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
