Senior Estimator – Metal, Glass, Joinery, and Signage Works Jobs in Dubai at Multigraphics Production FZ
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for metal works, joinery, and signage projects. The successful candidate will analyze drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates covering time, cost, materials, and labor. This role requires close collaboration with sales, design, and production teams to ensure competitive and precise quotations.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret architectural drawings, BOQs, and specifications for metal, joinery, and signage projects.
Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents based on project requirements.
Obtain and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Perform quantity take-offs for materials and labor.
Identify project risks and opportunities and propose value engineering solutions.
Coordinate with the design team for technical clarifications.
Maintain estimation records and costing databases.
Participate in pre- and post-tender meetings and client presentations when required.
Ensure timely submission of estimates in alignment with company pricing strategy.
Track and analyze project costs and performance to improve estimation accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in estimating within architectural and decorative metal and glass works, joinery, or signage industries.
Strong knowledge of materials, production processes, and installation methods.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (especially Excel), and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam).
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the UAE construction market and suppliers.
Experience in interior fit-out or exhibition industries.
Familiarity with LEED or sustainability guidelines is an advantage.
