Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Incharge with knowledge of wooden joinery materials and factory operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing store activities, maintaining inventory, coordinating material issuance, and ensuring proper storage of joinery-related materials and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily store operations efficiently
- Maintain stock records and inventory reports
- Receive, inspect, and issue materials as per requirements
- Handle wooden joinery materials, hardware, accessories, and tools
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and site teams
- Ensure proper material storage and stock availability
- Monitor material movement and prevent shortages or wastage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Prepare GRN, delivery notes, and stock reconciliation reports
- Conduct periodic stock audits and inventory checks
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as Store Incharge or Storekeeper in a joinery or woodworking company
- Knowledge of wooden joinery materials, hardware, veneers, laminates, and fittings
- Familiarity with inventory management and store documentation
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP systems preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage materials efficiently
