The individual in this position will be responsible for delivering diagnostic and therapeutic services to children and adults suffering from speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The emphasis is on designing rehabilitation programs that contribute to their social integration and enhance their quality of life.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
* **Assessment and Diagnosis:** Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine the type and severity of communication or swallowing disorders using the latest diagnostic tools.
* **Therapeutic Plans:** Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) based on scientific evidence and tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
* **Therapeutic Sessions:** Provide specialized therapeutic sessions for addressing articulation disorders, stuttering, speech delays, and language expression and comprehension disorders.
* **Documentation and Monitoring:** Prepare detailed reports to track client progress and document session outcomes in medical records.
* **Family Guidance:** Offer support and guidance to families of clients, training them on effective interaction strategies to ensure continued improvement in home settings.
* **Collaborative Work:** Coordinate and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (such as occupational and psychological therapists) to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
