Provide business subject matter expertise in the field of Revenue Accounting and Recognition to lead process design and requirements definition for the program.
Responsibilities
Participate and provide input in workshops to develop detailed business processes for Revenue Accounting and review them with stakeholders until approval.
Offer insights and recommendations from a functional and systems perspective on short- and long-term solution design.
Conduct review sessions to ensure solution alignment with business requirements.
Support the design of a unified process by actively participating in business workshops.
Review and assure business processes and governance to manage deviations from unified processes.
Review and ensure the accuracy of Functional Requirements Specification and Requirements Traceability Matrix.
Identify areas needing clarification and document requirement gaps.
Participate in workshops to clarify questions around integration points and support business requirements development.
Conduct review sessions with Business Owners and System Integrators to assess solution design alignment.
Participate in workshops with SI technical team and OpCos to review new requirements and customizations.
Review and provide recommendations on fixes or remediation actions from SI against review findings.
Review business design deliverables from SI and document findings.
Qualifications and Experience
5–7 years of functional management experience.
Minimum 5 years in the sector industry.
Experience in business process analysis, system design, and implementation.
Understanding of IFRS
15 financial processes and related operations.
Ability to analyze business process controls, reporting requirements, authorization considerations, and data availability.
Strong communication skills to articulate messages to diverse audiences.
Proven track record of business improvement.
Understanding of functional areas/products related to initiatives.
Ability to drive change management with limited guidance.
Good judgment to incorporate cultural aspects into performance activities.
High energy, creativity, and willingness to go the extra mile for transformation.
