Specialist in Stroke Medicine Leading Health Care Facility

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist in Stroke Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves providing expert care for acute and chronic stroke patients, working within a multidisciplinary neurology and critical care team, and contributing to advanced stroke management services.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke cases
• Provide timely thrombolysis and acute stroke intervention support (as applicable)
• Manage inpatient stroke care and rehabilitation coordination
• Work closely with neurology, emergency, ICU, and radiology teams
• Interpret neuroimaging and clinical findings for stroke management
• Develop individualized treatment and secondary prevention plans
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in stroke call and emergency response teams

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Board certification / Fellowship in Neurology, Internal Medicine, or Stroke Medicine
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialist experience
• Strong experience in acute stroke management and neurological care
• Ability to work in high-pressure emergency environments
• Excellent clinical judgment and teamwork skills
