JOB PURPOSE
The Project Lead acts as the single point of contact between Safari Company and the Saudi Motorsport Company (SMC). This role is responsible for overseeing the 24/7/365 delivery of comprehensive soft services—including cleaning, waste management, landscaping, and water management—to ensure the Jeddah Corniche Circuit remains a world-class, safe, and sustainable venue.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations across all service categories, including Water Supply, Waste Management, Landscaping, Cleaning, and Pest Control.
  • Non-IP Event Management: Direct soft service operations for non-IP events (e.g., weekend public events), ensuring these are treated as regular working days with a specialized focus on designated areas like public toilets.
  • IP Event Coordination: Liaise with dedicated vendors during International Promoter events (e.g., Formula 1) to facilitate the temporary handover and return of designated areas.
  • KPI & SLA Compliance: Ensure service delivery meets or exceeds all agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Staff Management: Manage the Contractor’s staff and coordinate schedules to ensure the facility remains operational 24 hours a day.
  • Standards Adherence: Enforce strict adherence to British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) standards and best practices.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit Weekly Report and comprehensive monthly performance reports to SMC detailing KPI results and corrective actions taken.
  • Façade & Window Cleaning Management: Deliver and manage the external façade cleaning program, ensuring all high-level cleaning follows an approved "Plan of Service" and strict safety provisions.
  • Emergency & Incident Response: Lead incident response and corrective action plans while maintaining an up-to-date Emergency Disaster Recovery and Contingency (EDRC) Plan.


QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Certification: Mandatory BICSc (British Institute of Cleaning Science) Certification.


EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in facilities soft services management.
  • Event Expertise: Proven ability to manage resource mobilization and response times during high-profile public events.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with fluency in Arabic and English.
