Skilled Metal Painter Jobs in Doha at Inox Kitchen Equipment
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Painter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial metal painting and finishing, with a strong understanding of surface preparation, paint application techniques, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare metal surfaces for painting through sanding, grinding, cleaning, degreasing, and masking.
- Apply primers, base coats, and topcoats using spray painting equipment while ensuring a smooth, high-quality finish.
- Work with a variety of metal products including Galvanized Iron (GI), Mild Steel, and Stainless Steel.
- Mix and apply 2K Epoxy Primer and 2K Polyurethane (PU) Topcoat according to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect painted surfaces to ensure consistent quality, color, thickness, and finish.
- Repair paint defects, touch up damaged areas, and perform rework when necessary.
- Maintain painting equipment, spray guns, and work areas in clean and safe working condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper handling of paints, solvents, and chemicals.
- Coordinate with the fabrication and production teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in industrial metal painting.
- Strong experience painting GI (Galvanized Iron), Mild Steel, and Stainless Steel products.
- Excellent knowledge of surface preparation techniques including sanding, grinding, cleaning, masking, and degreasing.
- Hands-on experience applying 2K Epoxy Primer and 2K Polyurethane (PU) Topcoat using conventional and airless spray systems.
- Ability to achieve high-quality finishes with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of paint mixing ratios, curing times, and coating thickness requirements.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, technical specifications, and paint system requirements.
- Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Strong commitment to quality, productivity, and workplace safety.Preferred Qualifications
- GCC experience is highly preferred.
