Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Site Superintendent for the Zuluf AM Upgrade Ph-II project in Sharjah . The role will focus on overseeing mechanical activities associated with the upgrade of wellhead platforms and the installation of critical mechanical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise mechanical engineering activities for the upgrade of 5 wellhead platforms. Lead the installation of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs) and ensure mechanical upgrades are executed effectively. Manage the slipovers, new PDM installations, and mechanical topside upgrades for wellhead platforms. Coordinate mechanical engineering activities with project teams to meet schedules, specifications, and budgets. Ensure all mechanical work is carried out according to industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Oversee the installation of subsea flow lines and 15kV composite submarine power cables. Report regularly on progress, quality, and cost control within the mechanical engineering scope. Qualifications and
Experience:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 10 years of mechanical engineering site supervision experience, with expertise in brownfield upgrades.
Proven track record
with offshore projects, especially in the oil and gas sector, working with wellhead platforms. Experience in managing mechanical installations, including ESPs and subsea infrastructure.
Leadership
skills to effectively manage site operations and collaborate with various teams.
