Site Quantity Surveyor (Pumping Station) Jobs in Abu Dhabi at Emarat Aloula contracting
Job Purpose
The Site Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing quantity surveying and commercial activities at the project site, including quantity take-offs, measurement of works, subcontractor evaluations, cost monitoring, variations, and payment applications, ensuring compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and verify site measurements.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and material quantities.
- Prepare and evaluate subcontractor payment certificates.
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of variations and claims.
- Review BOQs, drawings, and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate commercial records and cost reports.
- Coordinate with Project, Planning, QA/QC, and Procurement teams on commercial matters.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant UAE experience as a Site Quantity Surveyor.
- Previous experience in pumping stations, water transmission, utilities, infrastructure, or EPC projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of measurement, cost control, contracts, and quantity surveying practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
