Staff Site Nurse – Construction Site
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Male Nurse to join our team at a construction site in Dubai. The Male Nurse will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and safety of our workforce by providing immediate medical care, managing health records, and promoting a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Immediate Medical Care:
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees who are injured or ill on the construction site.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
Health Monitoring:
- Conduct regular health checks and monitor the well-being of employees.
- Maintain and manage health records of all employees, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Health and Safety Promotion:
- Promote health and safety practices among workers through training and awareness programs.
- Conduct health and safety training sessions for employees, including first aid and CPR.
Incident Management:
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and incidents on the construction site.
- Document all incidents, treatments, and follow-ups, maintaining accurate medical records.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the site safety team to identify and mitigate health risks.
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers and hospitals as needed for further medical treatment and referrals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Valid nursing license from the relevant health authority.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse, preferably in an industrial or construction setting.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practices.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent clinical and nursing skills with a strong ability to handle emergencies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions in emergencies.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate health records.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of working on a construction site.
