Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Service Technician – Food Service to join our service team in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance (PPM), troubleshooting and emergency breakdown support of water-treatment and food-service equipment at customer sites.
The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, pumps, compressors, kitchen equipment and water-treatment equipment, along with the ability to diagnose faults and provide timely corrective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled PPM, breakdown maintenance, repairs and installations at customer sites.
- Install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot water-treatment and food-service equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out necessary corrective actions.
- Work hands-on with pumps, compressors, kitchen equipment and associated electrical systems.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and within agreed SLA/KPI requirements.
- Ensure required materials, spare parts, tools and permits are available before commencing work.
- Coordinate with Service Coordinators regarding job status, spare-parts requirements and outstanding work.
- Aim to resolve service calls on a first-time-fix basis wherever possible.
- Complete service reports accurately and obtain customer acknowledgement/sign-off.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment and other assigned assets.
- Follow company and customer safety, hygiene and operational procedures.
- Respond professionally to customer concerns and provide excellent on-site service.
- Identify opportunities to improve service methods, efficiency and productivity.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience with water-treatment equipment installation, commissioning and maintenance.
- Strong ability to analyze, troubleshoot and rectify equipment faults.
- Hands-on electrical maintenance experience is essential.
- Experience working with pumps and compressors.
- Experience with commercial kitchen/food-service equipment is highly preferred.
- Understanding of service and hygiene requirements within the food-service industry.
- Ability to perform preventive and breakdown maintenance independently.
- Good documentation and service-reporting skills.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Flexible with working hours and emergency service requirements.
- Quick learner with a strong team-oriented approach.
- Valid UAE driving licence or a licence convertible to a UAE driving licence is essential for the UAE position.
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience as a Service Technician, Water Treatment Technician, Kitchen Equipment Technician, Field Service Technician, Maintenance Technician or Food Service Equipment Technician will be preferred.
