Senior Upholsterer – Luxury Furniture Manufacturing Jobs in Sharjah at Nader Design Furniture LLC
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Professional Upholsterer to join our furniture manufacturing team in Sharjah, UAE.
This position is for an experienced craftsman who takes pride in producing perfect finishing and exceptional-quality furniture. We manufacture premium and custom-made sofas, chairs, beds, headboards and other upholstered furniture.
Responsibilities & Skills Required
The successful candidate must be able to handle professional upholstery work from start to finish, including:
- Complete sofa and furniture upholstery
- Fabric and leather cutting
- Accurate measuring and material calculation
- Sewing and stitching
- Foam cutting, shaping and fitting
- Webbing and spring installation
- Cushion making and filling
- Working with fabric, velvet and leather
- Curved and complicated furniture designs
- Deep buttoning and detailed upholstery
- Clean corners and perfectly straight seams
- Pattern matching and fabric alignment
- Repairing and correcting upholstery problems
- Understanding furniture measurements and drawings
- Final inspection and quality control
Quality Is Extremely Important
We are not looking for beginners.
The finishing must be perfect. Every stitch, corner, seam, cushion and fabric alignment must meet a very high standard.
You must be able to work independently and recognize and correct imperfections before the furniture is considered finished.
One-Day Practical Skill Test
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a one-day practical skills assessment before final selection.
During the assessment, we will evaluate your upholstery skills, finishing quality, attention to detail, working methods and ability to complete professional furniture work.
Your experience on your CV is important, but your actual craftsmanship and quality of finishing will determine the position and salary offered.

Requirements
- Several years of professional upholstery experience
- Excellent knowledge of furniture and sofa upholstery
- Ability to complete upholstery work from start to finish
- Excellent attention to detail
- Very high finishing standards
- Reliable and responsible
- Ability to work independently
- Luxury/custom furniture experience preferred
- Must be willing to attend the one-day practical skills assessment
