Senior Testing And Commissioning Engineer (MEP)

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/ or Mechanical

• Master in Science in Engineering Management (optional)

• 15+ Years of Experience in Testing and Commissioning of Mechanical and Electrical Systems

• Proven expertise in leading testing and commissioning efforts for complex systems in large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects.

• Strong background in electrical systems (transformers, generators, switchgear) and mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, turbines).

• Extensive hands-on experience managing the integration of both mechanical and electrical systems.

• Managed commissioning projects from initiation to completion, ensuring systems were delivered on time and within budget.

• Proficient in using tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling software to track project timelines, milestones, and resources.

Technical Skills:

• Commissioning and testing of electrical systems: transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control panels.

• Mechanical systems commissioning HVAC, chillers, pumps, compressors, and piping systems.

• Pre-commissioning and commissioning of integrated systems with electrical and mechanical interdependencies.

• Factory and site acceptance testing for both mechanical and electrical equipment.

• Functional testing, performance verification and troubleshooting of both electrical and mechanical systems.

• Proficient in mechanical and electrical design software.

• Expertise in IEC, ANSI, IEEE, ASME, and local electrical and mechanical safety standards.

• Familiar with ISO 9001, quality assurance practices, and industry-specific regulations for commissioning.

• Deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards for both mechanical and electrical works.
