JOB PURPOSE
The Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment and manpower mobilization for SML Engineering and Contracting, covering both head office and project site positions. The role requires strong, hands-on expertise in construction industry recruitment within the UAE, with the ability to source, screen, and mobilize candidates quickly to meet urgent project manpower needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for head office and project site positions across all construction disciplines (Civil, MEP, HSE, Procurement, Lifting, Scaffolding, Logistics, and others).
• Source candidates for skilled, semi-skilled, and professional manpower positions through job portals, recruitment agencies, manpower suppliers, and direct networks.
• Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates in line with project and department requirements.
• Coordinate with department heads and project managers to understand manpower requirements, headcount plans, and mobilization timelines.
• Manage manpower mobilization to meet urgent project deadlines, including immediate-joiner and bulk-hiring requirements.
• Maintain and update recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and status reports across all open positions.
• Coordinate with the HR team on offer letters, visa processing, and onboarding documentation for selected candidates.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline of construction professionals and skilled/semi-skilled workers for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Negotiate salary offers and terms with candidates within approved budgets and company compensation guidelines.
• Ensure recruitment activities comply with UAE labor law and company hiring policies.
