We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing construction and project management team. **Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Cost Estimation:** Accurately estimate project costs, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses, utilizing industry standards and best practices.
2. **Budget Management:** Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
3. **Tender Analysis:** Prepare and analyze tender documents, including bills of quantities, to facilitate accurate bid submissions.
4. **Contract Management:** Administer contracts and agreements, including evaluating variations, claims, and settlements.
5. **Quantity Assessment:** Perform detailed quantity take-offs and assessments to verify project progress and costs.
6. **Vendor Relations:** Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
7. **Cost Reporting:** Provide regular cost reports to project stakeholders, highlighting any variances and recommending corrective actions.
8. **Quality Assurance:** Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.
**Requirements:**
– **UAE Experience:** Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UAE construction sector.
– **Educational Qualification:** Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
– **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
– **Budgeting Skills:** Strong budget management and financial analysis skills.
– **Contractual Knowledge:** Familiarity with construction contracts and agreements.
– **Communication:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– **Detail-Oriented:** Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
– **Analytical Thinking:** Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– **Team Player:** Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
