KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the overall execution of marble, granite, and natural stone projects from commencement to final handover.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, execution plans, manpower requirements, material requirements, and project milestones.
- Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, factory, production, procurement, logistics, and site teams.
- Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, and scope of work to ensure proper project execution.
- Monitor shop drawings, material approvals, samples, mock-ups, site measurements, fabrication, delivery, and installation activities.
- Ensure proper coordination between factory production and site requirements to avoid delays and material shortages.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, manpower, material utilization, quality, and overall performance.
- Ensure marble and stone fabrication, finishing, packing, delivery, and installation are completed according to approved drawings and required quality standards.
- Identify project risks, delays, technical issues, and resource requirements and take timely corrective action.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, claims, material wastage, rework, and other factors affecting project profitability.
- Coordinate with the commercial and quantity surveying teams regarding variations, valuations, claims, and project financial matters.
- Conduct and attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of project-related issues.
- Lead and manage Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and other project team members.
- Monitor site installation progress and ensure sufficient manpower, materials, tools, and equipment are available.
- Ensure all project works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate inspection, snagging, rectification, testing, and final handover activities.
- Ensure proper project documentation and timely submission of progress reports, approvals, variations, claims, and handover documents.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of client and consultant satisfaction.
- Take full ownership of project performance and ensure successful completion within the approved schedule and budget.
