We’re Hiring: Senior Project Accountant | Qatar
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join our team and support major infrastructure and utilities projects in Qatar.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in Utilities, Infrastructure, Drainage, Water/Wastewater, or Construction projects.
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), interim claims, final accounts, contractor invoices, and payment certificates in accordance with contractual and client requirements.
- Manage payment processing, payment trackers, expense reports, costing activities, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with established procedures and service level targets.
- Review and monitor cost classifications, costing models, fixed asset transactions, depreciation, disposals, and impairment records.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues and ensure timely processing of invoices and approvals.
- Support budgeting, cost control, investment activities, financial analysis, and asset management processes.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary organization, preferably within the GCC/Middle East region.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, RICS, MRICS, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
