✘ Fewer than 5 years of hands-on packaging design experience (any amount of digital, UI, or social media experience does not count toward this).
✘ No portfolio submitted as a single PDF — or a PDF that contains fewer than 20 distinct, real, produced packaging projects spanning different product categories (e.g. tobacco, spirits, food, cosmetics, beverage).
✘ A primary background in digital marketing, social media content, or e-commerce graphics. This is an automatic rejection regardless of years of experience or portfolio size — this is a print-production packaging role, not a digital design role.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
GTI is a founder-led, global tobacco manufacturer with packaging on shelves in 40+ international markets. We’re hiring a Senior Packaging & Graphic Designer to join a tight in-house creative team at our Dubai HQ – working hands-on with print production, not just concepts. You’ll take real packaging from brief to press-ready file: line extensions, variant adaptations, and new product creation across our tobacco brand portfolio, plus the POS materials that support them in-store.
This is a role for a designer who already knows what foil stamping, embossing, and spot varnish look like on a finished pack — and wants to keep doing that work at a premium, global scale, under strong marketing-led art direction.
WHAT WE OFFER:
A hands-on, strategic creative role inside a global marketing team – not an agency queue. A small, senior, 5-person in-house creative team where your work ships fast and matters. Ownership of packaging across 70+ global markets for established, premium brands. Full-time, in-house position at our Dubai HQ, with visa sponsorship.
YOUR MISSION:
Design packaging for new products and new variants, line extensions, and multi-market adaptations of existing brands. Create POSM: headers, wobblers, shelf strips, displays, and trade marketing toolkits. Prepare high-resolution, press-ready final artwork fully compliant with pre-press and print production standards. Work within brand guidelines and regulatory constraints across multiple markets. Partner with marketing, product development, and legal to keep every project on-brand and compliant. Track Western FMCG design trends, colour psychology, pack formats, and material innovation.
