We’re Hiring | Senior Mechanical Engineer (MEP Design & Consultancy)
MDC Engineers & Consultants W.L.L. is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems for residential, commercial, governmental and mixed-use projects.
- Prepare complete design packages from concept through IFC drawings.
- Perform engineering calculations and design reviews.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural and Electrical disciplines.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals and technical documents.
- Coordinate with authorities including Municipality, Civil Defense and other government entities.
- Attend technical meetings with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support during construction and supervise site activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), QCDD requirements and international engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Municipality Grade "A" Classification (Mechanical) – Mandatory.
- Approved QCDD Consultancy Engineer – Mandatory.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in MEP Design Consultancy.
- Previous consultancy experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar regulations, authority approvals and engineering standards.
Technical Skills
Applicants should have strong experience in:
- AutoCAD
- Revit MEP (BIM)
- HAP
- Elite Software (CHVAC / Fire / Plumbing)
- DuctSizer & PipeSizer
- Navisworks (Preferred)
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360 (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite
Professional Experience

- Smoke Management Systems
- Mechanical Design Calculations
- Value Engineering
- Tender Documents & Technical Specifications

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Employment Details
Location: Doha, Qatar
Compensation: Salary and benefits package will be determined based on qualifications, professional classification and experience during the interview process.
