Senior Mechanical Engineer Jobs in Dubai at Pepco Group of Companies
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and supervise mechanical construction activities at project sites.
- Coordinate the execution of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other MEP disciplines.
- Monitor project progress and ensure mechanical works are completed within the approved schedule.
- Supervise site engineers, foremen, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and UAE regulations.
- Coordinate material requirements, procurement, delivery, and site availability.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical and installation issues.
- Monitor manpower, productivity, materials, and equipment requirements.
- Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure proper testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with the Project Manager and consultant.
- Identify project risks, delays, and technical issues and take corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices at the site.
- Review subcontractor work and verify completed quantities for progress payments.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover of mechanical systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
Pay: AED6,000.00 – AED12,000.00 per month
