GET is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer
Job Location: Umm Al Quwain, UAE (Immediate Hiring)
Role Purpose:
A results-driven Senior Mechanical Designer to handle 3D modelling and production-ready documentation for complex industrial fabrication projects. The role requires a candidate who can take full technical ownership of the design cycle, from conceptual layouts to final shop drawings, ensuring all designs are optimized for manufacturability and meet international engineering standards.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is must.
- Location: Applicant must be currently based in the UAE and available for an immediate start.
- Tools & Software: Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD and MS Suites.
- Experience: 3–5 years in a practical manufacturing environment focusing on heavy fabrication and modular structures with a proven record of successful projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience in Sheetmetal and Weldment design.
- Performance: Ability to manage high work volumes and deliver accurate results from Day One. No formal training period is provided.
- Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio of previous work is mandatory for evaluation.
