Senior Interior Design is responsible for managing the Interior Design Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative, and technical design solutions. The role oversees the design team, maintains design standards, coordinates with internal departments, and ensures projects are delivered on time and in line with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities, Leadership & Team Management
Mentor and manage the Interior Design team.
Allocate projects and monitor workloads.
Conduct performance reviews and support staff development.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Design Management
Review and approve design concepts, presentations, and technical drawings.
Ensure all designs meet the company’s quality, creativity, and technical standards.
Provide design direction and resolve complex design challenges.
Project Coordination
Monitor design progress to ensure deadlines are achieved.
Coordinate closely with Procurement, Estimation, Project Management, Production, and Site teams.
Ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with project budgets.
Client & Quality Management
Support key client meetings and presentations when required.
Ensure accuracy and quality of all design deliverables.
Maintain company design standards and continuously improve design processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Interior Design.
At least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Experience in luxury residential, commercial, hospitality, or high-end fit-out projects.
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent design, space planning, and technical knowledge.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (SketchUp, 3D visualization software its plus) .
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Quality and accuracy of design documentation.
Client satisfaction and design approval rates.
Team productivity and development.
Reduction of design-related site issues and revisions.
