WSP Middle East are looking for a Senior Government Relations Officer – Saudi National to join us in Riyadh, KSA.

Your new role, what’s involved?

Company License & Registration:Manage and maintain all company licenses and registrations with relevant local authorities, ensuring timely renewals and compliance.

Visa & Iqama Issues:Handle all visa and iqama-related issues for employees, ensuring smooth onboarding, renewals, and extensions as required.

Employment Contract Management:Manage the Qiwa system for employment contract registration, ensuringcompliance with labor lawsand regulations.

Labor Cases:Assist in resolving any labor-related disputes or cases in accordance with Saudi labor laws and company policies.

Labor Law Compliance:Maintainup-to-dateknowledge of Saudi labor laws and ensure the company’s operations are fully compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Policy & Guidelines:Develop and maintain internal policies and guidelines related to employee management, visa processes, and government-related matters.

Excel & Administrative Support:Providehands-onsupport for documentation, reporting, and data management, utilizing advanced Excel skills.

Communication & Stakeholder Relations:Act as the primary point of contact between WSP and local government authorities, handling correspondence, approvals, and inquiries.

Government Engagement:Enhance the company’s reputation and visibility by managing relations with key government bodies and regulatory agencies.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

Saudi National with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Min. 08 Years of proven working experience in government relations, public affairs, or a similar role, preferably within the engineering, construction, or consulting industry.

Sound knowledge of governmental structures, protocols, and regulatory processes in Saudi Arabia.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with government officials and external stakeholders.

In-depth knowledge of Saudi labor laws, visa, and iqama processes.

Strong experience with Qiwa employment contract management and other regulatory platforms.

Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational andmultitaskingabilities.

Ability to handle sensitive legal and regulatory issues withprofessionalismand discretion.
