Senior Estimator – Construction Contracting
Location: Dubai – UAE
Salary: AED 5,000 – 8,000/month

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with a strong background in the UAE construction contracting industry to handle tender estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and commercial evaluation for construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing accurate and competitive tenders while ensuring cost control and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Review construction tender documents, IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract requirements.
- Prepare and verify quantity take-offs for civil, structural, architectural, and related construction works.
- Develop detailed BOQs and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
- Prepare complete tender pricing including materials, labour, equipment, subcontractor costs, overheads, and margins.
- Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations for construction materials and works.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, QA/QC, and project teams for tender inputs.
- Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions, compliance documents, and cost breakdowns.
- Manage tender clarifications, RFIs, post-tender negotiations, and pricing updates.
- Maintain construction cost databases, supplier rates, and market pricing information.
- Support project handover after award by providing tender comparisons, assumptions, exclusions, and cost details.
- Review estimation outputs and support junior estimators when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of UAE experience as an Estimator/Senior Estimator within a construction contracting company.
- Must have experience handling building construction projects and UAE tenders.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, cost estimation, and tender pricing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction market rates and practices.
- Proficiency in estimation tools and MS Excel.
Industry Requirement: Only candidates with construction contracting experience will be considered.
Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED8,000.00 per month
