Role Purpose
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Electrical Supervisor to control daily electrical site execution for data center MEP delivery works.
The role focuses on manpower control, installation quality, productivity, tools, materials, access, safety coordination, work-front readiness, containment installation, cable pulling, equipment connections, earthing, labeling, snag closure, and support for inspection readiness.
This is a site execution role. The candidate must be strong on the ground, able to lead technicians, coordinate subcontractors, follow drawings, detect installation issues early, and ensure work is completed safely, cleanly, and correctly.
Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Site Supervision
- Supervise electrical technicians, subcontractors, helpers, and installation teams.
- Allocate daily work fronts based on approved drawings, engineer instructions, material availability, and site priorities.
- Control electrical installation works including cable trays, trunking, conduits, supports, panels, isolators, cabling, dressing, glanding, termination support, earthing, bonding, and labeling.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, cleanly, and according to approved drawings and project requirements.
- Monitor manpower productivity, work quality, tools, access, material usage, and daily progress.
- Report blockers, missing materials, access issues, clashes, and safety concerns immediately.
Installation Quality Control
- Check installation alignment, supports, spacing, segregation, access, labeling, cable routing, bend radius, containment levels, and workmanship.
- Ensure electrical works are coordinated with HVAC, BMS, fire alarm, ELV, mechanical, ceiling, civil, and structural works.
- Prevent incorrect installation before it becomes rework.
- Ensure areas are ready before calling for engineer or QA/QC inspection.
- Support snag closure and corrective actions
Equipment and Interface Support
- Support electrical installation requirements for HVAC equipment, BMS panels, control panels, pumps, isolators, sensors, actuators, and main equipment.
- Confirm that equipment connections, containment routes, access space, and earthing points are physically ready.
- Coordinate with mechanical and BMS teams for interface works.
- Assist during testing, inspection, energization preparation, and commissioning support.
Drawing and Site Communication
- Read and follow approved electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, SLDs, cable schedules, and installation details.
- Identify drawing conflicts or site constraints and report them to the Electrical Engineer.
- Provide clear site feedback for redlines and as-built updates.
- Maintain daily records of completed work, manpower, materials, and site issues.
Safety and Housekeeping
- Ensure electrical teams follow site safety rules, permits, isolation requirements, PPE requirements, housekeeping standards, and work-at-height controls.
- Coordinate with HSE for toolbox talks, permits, hot works, lifting, access, and high-risk activities.
- Maintain clean and controlled work areas, especially in data center rooms, technical spaces, risers, plantrooms, and equipment zones.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma, ITI, technical certificate, or equivalent electrical trade qualification.
- 8 to 12 years of electrical site supervision experience.
- Experience in data centers, telecom facilities, critical infrastructure, industrial projects, hospitals, airports, or technical buildings is preferred.
- UAE project experience is preferred.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical installation and site team control.
Pay: AED6,500.00 – AED8,000.00 per month
