Job Description
My Client, a leading Facilities Management Company, is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Head of Department and overall in charge of Contracts & Procurement and Logistics departments.
Deliver high quality, prompt, and courteous Facilities Management services in support of customers’ business needs in a safe working environment.
Liaise with the customer’s representative regarding all matters outside of agreed delegated levels of authority.
Provide training, management, and guidance to directly employed staff in accordance with contract and works guidelines.
Lead and oversee the team’s daily operations and activities.
Conduct periodic assessments on system optimization and project implementation and building utility support to ensure smooth and safe operation of the building facility.
Support in the implementation of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) related activities and programs.
Maintain and ensure the building and infrastructures comply with specifications and standards.
Meet KPI requirements set by management from time to time.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
:
Management of staff, vendors, and supplies.
Update daily information on In-house TAM database.
Successful completion of scheduled activities. Prompt and courteous response to customer requests.
Maintain and update the management budget, equipment, and materials.
Conduct regular service and systems audits.
Guide and upgrade staff technical and management competency.
Prepare site standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Generate, collate, and submit weekly and monthly reports.
Conduct and review plant operation, emergency plan, and contingency plan.
Conduct daily operation pass-down meetings and update staff on major works, project activities, or organization goals.
Review work requests, approval, and issuing work.

Job Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years working experience in commercial contracts or holding a key management position.
Minimum 5 years Middle East experience.
MRICS Qualification.
Interpersonal, initiative, analytical thinking, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
Experience in pre and post contracts including procurement.
Perfect command of spoken and written English.
Ability to perform the marketing aspect of Facility Management.
Good presentation skills.
Good knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
