We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures. You should be proficient in using a variety of tools and able to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project specifications
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, flooring, and cabinets
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans
Repair or replace damaged woodwork, fixtures, and frameworks
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Ensure work is completed according to building codes and safety regulations
Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and clients to meet project goals
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
Knowledge of building codes and safety procedures
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with different types of carpentry work (rough, finish, cabinetry, etc.)
Familiarity with various wood types and materials
Certification in carpentry or related trade
