- You enjoy developing and enhancing Adobe Commerce (Magento) and TYPO3 solutions.
- You are responsible for designing and implementing custom modules, extensions, and system integrations.
- You maintain, optimize, and improve the performance of existing applications.
- You work on integrating third-party systems, APIs, payment providers, and ERP, PIM, or CRM platforms.
- You analyze technical requirements and develop efficient, scalable solutions.
- You are responsible for implementing responsive front-end designs based on UX/UI, marketing, and design specifications.
- You ensure a consistent user experience across different devices and browsers.
- You collaborate closely with design, marketing, and UX/UI teams to deliver new websites, landing pages, and shop features.
- You troubleshoot issues, debug applications, and ensure high software quality.
- You contribute to technical architecture, maintain high code quality, and follow development best practices.
WHAT SETS YOU APART
You have extensive experience in professional web development and a proven track record of delivering complex e-commerce projects.
- At least 5 years of experience developing with Adobe Commerce (Magento), including strong expertise in Magento 2.
- In-depth knowledge of PHP, object-oriented programming, TYPO3 (including legacy and current versions), HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, responsive front-end development, MySQL/MariaDB, and modern web technologies.
- Experience implementing layouts, landing pages, shop interfaces, and translating designs from Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or similar tools into high-quality code.
- Solid understanding of UX, usability, responsive design, performance, scalability, security, software architecture, and SEO best practices.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, third-party integrations, Git, Composer, and modern development workflows.
- A structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working, along with good German and/or English communication skills.
It is a plus if you have experience with:
- Adobe Commerce Cloud, Hyvä, Knockout.js, RequireJS, or modern front-end frameworks.
- Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Redis, Varnish, RabbitMQ, Docker, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
- Core Web Vitals, design systems, style guides, component libraries, basic image editing, and collaborating with design, marketing, or UX/UI teams.
