We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to take charge of our day to day finance operations. You will handle everything from project accounting to monthly reporting and tax compliance. This is a hands on role where you will work closely with project teams to track costs, monitor profitability, and ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
What You Will Do:
Project Accounting
- Manage accounting for multiple projects.
- Use the Percentage of Completion method to recognize revenue on monthly
- Review and analyse costs properly for labour, materials, or subcontractor expenses.
- Track project profitability and alert management if costs are going over budget.
Financial Reporting & Daily Operations
- Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee AR/AP ensure customers pay on time and suppliers are paid accurately.
- Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
Tax & Compliance
- Coordinate with external audit, VAT, and Corporate Tax teams.
- Ensure all VAT returns and tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Stay updated on UAE regulatory requirements and ensure full compliance.
Team Coordination
- Work with Project Managers and operational staff to explain financial data in simple terms.
- Support external auditors with required documentation.
