Responsibilities :
Analyze project plans, bills of quantities, and other documentation to estimate construction costs accurately.
Identify labor, material, and time requirements through thorough research of proposals, blueprints, and related documents.
Prepare detailed cost estimation reports to support decision-making processes.
Solicit and collect quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Negotiate competitive pricing and favorable terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
Apply financial and project management principles to analyze data affecting project costs.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and address potential cost implications.
Monitor project budgets and expenses using specialized software tools, ensuring alignment with forecasted plans.
Stay updated on the latest construction technologies, regulatory requirements, and legislative changes.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including bid managers, clients, and suppliers, to ensure alignment.
Present detailed and complex cost estimation reports effectively to management and clients.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Proven experience of 5 years in cost estimation, preferably in interior design and fitout projects.
Proficiency in cost estimation software and project management tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED15,000.00 – AED20,000.00 per month
