About the Role
We are looking for an experienced FMCG Field Sales Executive with strong knowledge of the UAE retail and grocery market.
The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of grocery stores, supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, and other retail outlets, along with strong existing relationships with shop owners, store managers, purchasers, and shopkeepers. The role will also involve identifying suitable locations and shops for placing our kiosks and building relationships with shop owners to secure kiosk placements.
This is a pure field-sales role. Our main priority is someone who already knows the market, knows where the shops are, understands the different areas, and can use their existing network to generate sales and place products.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure suitable shops locations for kiosk placement.
- Build and maintain relationships with shop owners and managers to facilitate kiosk placements.
- Monitor existing kiosk locations and identify opportunities to relocate or expand kiosks where required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shop owners, managers, purchasers, and shopkeepers.
- Use existing market connections and relationships to introduce and sell products.
- Identify high-potential areas and new sales opportunities.
- Have strong knowledge of the grocery and retail outlets within assigned areas.
- Build product distribution and increase product availability across shops.
- Negotiate with shop owners and store managers to secure product placement and sales.
- Regularly follow up with existing and potential customers.
- Achieve monthly sales and distribution targets.
- Provide information about market demand, competitor products, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Continuously expand the company’s network of retail outlets.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong FMCG / food-product field sales experience is highly preferred.
- Must have extensive knowledge of the UAE retail market.
- Must have an existing network of contacts with grocery owners, shopkeepers, store managers, purchasers, and retailers.
- Should know the major grocery and retail areas and have good knowledge of shops within those areas.
- Must be confident approaching shop owners and closing sales independently.
- Malayalam is mandatory.
- Male candidates preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- A Bachelor’s degree is not required.
- High-level computer skills are not required.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Must be comfortable spending most of the working day in the field.
- Should be self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who can walk into an area and immediately know where the groceries, supermarkets, and relevant retail shops are, who to speak to, and how to get the products introduced.
We are prioritizing market knowledge, sales ability, existing connections, and practical FMCG experience over academic qualifications or advanced computer skills.
