Job Purpose:
The Bodyshop Estimator is responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, preparing accurate repair estimates, coordinating with insurance companies and internal departments, and ensuring repairs are properly assessed, approved, and executed. The role ensures accurate costing, timely approvals, effective communication, and customer satisfaction while supporting departmental objectives and business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess repair requirements in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates, quotations, and job cards using approved estimating systems and company procedures.
- Identify repair methods, labor requirements, spare parts requirements, and outside service requirements.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, and customers to obtain approvals and clarify repair scope.
- Ensure all repair estimates and related documentation are complete and accurately maintained.
- Coordinate with Workshop Controller, Team Leaders, Parts Department, and Service Advisors to ensure repair requirements are properly communicated and executed.
- Monitor estimate approvals and follow up on pending authorizations to minimize repair delays.
- Identify supplementary repairs and prepare additional estimates when required.
- Review repair progress and support timely completion of repairs and delivery commitments.
- Ensure repair estimates comply with company policies, insurance requirements, and manufacturer standards.
- Monitor departmental performance and implement corrective actions to achieve agreed KPIs and business objectives.
- Prepare and review operational and insurance-related reports.
- Support implementation of operational standards, quality requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and approval authorities.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive bodyshop operations or damage estimating.
- Experience within dealership, multi-brand, insurance, or aftersales operations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of body repair processes, insurance procedures, labor operations, and estimating principles.
- Experience with DMS/ERP systems and estimating platforms is preferred.

- Recommend repair methods, labor requirements, parts requirements, and outside services.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, and internal departments regarding estimate approvals and repair scope.
- Escalate technical, operational, and approval-related issues requiring management intervention.
- Support implementation of departmental policies and procedures in line with company guidelines.

Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
